In 1989, Walter Krul started AmCare with a single ambulance and a mission to provide caring, compassionate medical transportation to St. Albans. Today, AmCare is the largest ambulance service provider in Franklin County. We are the contracted 911 response team for St. Albans, and lead the way with the most paramedics on staff in the region providing fast, complete care. Human Resources
Our Human Resources Department handles recruitment and staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and payroll.
Operations
The Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring crews are following policy, procedures and providing the best service to our customers.
Education
We offer in house training for EMR, Advanced EMT, Paramedic refresher, CPR training, and a Dispatch Academy.
Accounting
Our Billing Department is trained in all aspects of insurance and patient verification as well as billing and collections.
Communications
Our state of the art communications center is staffed 24/7 to meet all of your transportation needs.
Logistics
Being prepared with the right equipment & supplies is critical to proper response and care. Our industry leading logistics deliver proactive management, stocking, and distribution completely and accurately.
Marketing
Obtaining new business, working with current customers, arranging standby events, and employee appreciation activities, our Marketing department is always busy.
