About Us

In 1989, Walter Krul started AmCare with a single ambulance and a mission to provide caring, compassionate medical transportation to St. Albans. Today, AmCare is the largest ambulance service provider in Franklin County. We are the contracted 911 response team for St. Albans, and lead the way with the most paramedics on staff in the region providing fast, complete care. A long standing part of the St. Albans community, we focus every single day your unique local patient needs so we can deliver exceptional personal care for every emergency and non-emergency patient we serve.
